Known for her unstoppable energy, collaborative spirit and love of logistics, Jay brings a multitude of production credits in television comedy, current affairs and unscripted reality to her role as Festival Producer. With a degree in sports and personal training, and a background in competitive netball and trampoline-park management, Jay is well equipped for the ups and downs (and ups) of comedy.
She has nurtured a deep appreciation of the craft and strong relationships across the comedy scene through floor managing and talent production on shows including The Project, Have You Been Paying Attention, Taskmaster NZ, The Traitors, Bouncers, and is famous for keeping her cool in nail-biting live environments like Dancing with the Stars and the annual Aotearoa Music Awards.
Jay lives with Loud Laughter Syndrome (as documented in a touching episode of The Project), her iconic chortle making her one of the most in-demand audience members on the comedy scene. Naturally, the NZ International Comedy Festival needed to bring such a natural gift inside the tent.
