Jason is a senior corporate lawyer who works in-house for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, the tangata whenua and ahi kā of Auckland Central. He is a Harvard trained negotiator and specialises in contracting, commercial law, governance and employment law.
Jason served as a director of the entity that brought the World Choir Games to Tāmaki Makaurau in 2024, and previously volunteered for 5 years as a board member for the Orpheus Choir of Wellington.
Jason has a strong interest in understanding different cultures and creating social cohesion. Importantly, he loves to laugh and is passionate about helping others laugh more through his work for the New Zealand Comedy Trust.
