Jason is a senior corporate lawyer specialising in commercial law, governance, and employment law. He works in financial services, previously having worked for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, and is a Harvard-trained negotiator.
Jason has significant governance experience, including serving as a director of the entity that brought the World Choir Games to Tāmaki Makaurau in 2024, which won the NZEA Major Event of the Year award. He also served on the Board of the Orpheus Choir of Wellington for five years.
Jason has a strong interest in culture and social cohesion, and is passionate about helping others laugh more through his work with the New Zealand Comedy Trust
