Kirsty Hardwicke – Festival & Event Producer

With over 10 years experience in the events, arts and culture sectors across delivery, planning and strategic roles, Kirsty has previously worked in the Assistant Producer and Ticketing roles at the Festival. Before returning to the Festival in 2017 as Festival & Event Producer, Kirsty most recently worked for Auckland Live as a Producer, across a variety of portfolios including education, accessibility, contemporary theatre and children and family events. Prior to Auckland Live, Kirsty was the Programming & Marketing Manager at Baycourt Theatre in Tauranga, converting the venue to a presenter model and implementing programming and audience development strategies.

Kirsty is passionate about advocating for and recognising comedy within the arts community, as well as diversifying comedy programming, and ensuring high-quality New Zealand work is seen more widely by a range of audiences.
